Consumer Evaluations

I have a small squadron of mini helicopters and this 1 is by far the perfect so far. I read awesome evaluations of the Syma S107. I was pretty pleased with it compared to some of the older Syma models. Then I saw the positive critiques for this and believed I would give it a go. It flies extremely properly! Quiter than the other seven helicopters I have and so stable, smooth, and responsive. It is a tiny slow with forward and reverse momentum, but not negative. Slow is less complicated to control...maybe that was intentional. We fly these each day in the office and this hands down outperforms everthing else.
For those comparing models, right here you go:
Syma S109 Apache- Superb
Syma S105G (Sport Helicopter) Rather Great -Fastest, stable, but somewhat loud, durable metal frame
Syma S107G- (Sport Helicopter) Extremely superior- nearly identical to S105 but a small slower, distinct scheme, older?
Syma S026 Chinook- Looks cool, flies ok, but tough to manage. As well considerably power for its weight 'Cieling magnet'
Syma S013 Black Hawk- Horrible! Fairly light, spins uncontrollably, fragile
Syma S013 Apache- See S013 Black Hawk evaluation. (friend purchased this one to join the enjoyable: nothing but regrets)
Heard the S108G Cobra is very good also but haven't tried it. My deployment to Iraq is just about over, so I quite possibly won't be buying any extra toys.

What a difference a gyro tends to make! Unbelievable...I tried a single of the 1st gen micro R/C copters (no gyro on those) not long after they came out, and identified them to be highly challenging to manage and not substantially enjoyable mainly because of it.
This generation with the gyro is just wonderful although...SO stable, SO simple and easy - but not boring. There is still a learning curve for full R/C noobies that will make this a terrific initially R/C copter, but I look at it nearly like a challenge...attempting to master this little beast is Entertaining!
This also truly looks like a real helicopter, compared to the ones I purchased previously, which looked like....properly like R/C copters - totally unrealistic.
The LED lights are awesome so you can fly at night (my kids Appreciate that - the dog...not so substantially), and the point even appears to behave like a true helicopter, with ground effect and getting to lower speed (thrust?) to tilt forward (I am no pilot or physicist, but I do know that the prior models I tried did not give me any sort of sense of "this factor FEELS like I am flying a true helicopter!")
Gonna quit now given that I sound like I function for the corporation (not even confident who the business is basically, but whoever it is, they sorely want an English native to write the English portion of the instruction manual!)
Cannot advocate this sufficient. Simple hassle-free five stars.
FYI if you are interested in modding your Syma (particularly, the low-cost, simple and easy and amazing tail rotor mod that tends to make it more rapidly and additional agile), you should really purchase the model that looks like the R/C copter (107G I think). Found this out the difficult way, but I nonetheless prefer this one particular for the looks. Video of the mod outcomes: [...]
