Buyer Reviews

I have a smaller squadron of mini helicopters and this 1 is by far the top so far. I read excellent reviews of the Syma S107. I was pretty pleased with it compared to some of the older Syma models. Then I saw the positive evaluations for this and believed I would give it a go. It flies extremely properly! Quiter than the other seven helicopters I have and so stable, smooth, and responsive. It is a tiny slow with forward and reverse momentum, but not poor. Slow is easier to manage...possibly that was intentional. We fly these every single day in the office and this hands down outperforms everthing else.
For those comparing models, here you go:
Syma S109 Apache- Great
Syma S105G (Sport Helicopter) Pretty Great -Fastest, stable, but somewhat loud, durable metal frame
Syma S107G- (Sport Helicopter) Rather very good- almost identical to S105 but a tiny slower, distinctive scheme, older?
Syma S026 Chinook- Looks cool, flies ok, but tough to control. Also substantially power for its weight 'Cieling magnet'
Syma S013 Black Hawk- Horrible! Really light, spins uncontrollably, fragile
Syma S013 Apache- See S013 Black Hawk assessment. (buddy purchased this 1 to join the entertaining: nothing but regrets)
Heard the S108G Cobra is superior also but haven't tried it. My deployment to Iraq is virtually over, so I possibly won't be purchasing any a great deal more toys.

What a difference a gyro tends to make! Extraordinary...I tried 1 of the 1st gen micro R/C copters (no gyro on those) not long right after they came out, and discovered them to be really complicated to control and not substantially enjoyable since of it.
This generation with the gyro is just awesome although...SO stable, SO straightforward - but not boring. There is still a finding out curve for total R/C noobies that will make this a outstanding first R/C copter, but I appear at it nearly like a challenge...attempting to master this small beast is Entertaining!
This also in fact looks like a actual helicopter, compared to the ones I purchased previously, which looked like....well like R/C copters - completely unrealistic.
The LED lights are awesome so you can fly at night (my kids Love that - the dog...not so much), and the point even appears to behave like a authentic helicopter, with ground impact and getting to minimize speed (thrust?) to tilt forward (I am no pilot or physicist, but I do know that the previous models I tried did not give me any type of sense of "this thing FEELS like I am flying a authentic helicopter!")
Gonna cease now since I sound like I work for the enterprise (not even certain who the enterprise is essentially, but whoever it is, they sorely want an English native to write the English component of the instruction manual!)
Can not advise this sufficient. Uncomplicated hassle-free 5 stars.
FYI if you are interested in modding your Syma (particularly, the cheap, uncomplicated and great tail rotor mod that makes it more rapidly and far more agile), you ought to acquire the model that looks like the R/C copter (107G I think). Discovered this out the hard way, but I still choose this one particular for the looks. Video of the mod outcomes: [...]
