Soaring high above the skies of the nearby toy retailer, the Helizone helicopter was not content as an average helicopter. It had huge dreams: Aspirations of bringing joy to tiny ten-year-old youngsters and massive 60-year-old children at heart alike. Deciding that a plastic physique frame would be too fragile, this little Helizone revamped to a sturdy metal alloy frame and skids for tough landings. Knowing that all brawn and no brains would not be adequate, this Helizone upgraded its performance by programming a Gyroscope inside its brain to stabilize its rotors during flights. With a new controlling technique, it is now able to fly forward and backwards as well as left, correct, up and down with ease. A single windy afternoon, a firestorm hit the toy store. The Helizone spiraled into the pit of flames prior to generating a final effort to survive. Other helicopters gave way, and only the brave Helizone managed to survive the scene. Fortunately it succeeded, though not without repercussions. The flames created permanent imprints on the helicopter, and thus the Helizone Firebird was born with residual flames on the outskirts of the rotors, physique and wings. The legend of the Helizone Firebird lives on now.

Survives several crashes, brief studying-to-fly time. Much easier to fly and control than earlier styles.
Be certain to check the setscrew tightness on the main blade attachment to the driveshaft. Just after a few weeks, mine loosened up and I had to obtain all the small components and reassemble after a crash.
Enjoyable dogfights with good friends with other mini copters, and great to entertain cats, pester family members. Not great for carrying beer from fridge to chair. Payload is the two gram LiPoly battery, gives a couple of minutes fly-time. neat function to charge from USB port or from remote manage unit.
My son received this on Sunday, Christmas morning. By Monday night it was producing a weird noise and not operating appropriate. He contacted the maker of the copter and they told him he'd likely have to have to Acquire(!) a new set of gears for it. This wasn't his first helicopter so he could fly it reasonably nicely from the get go with minimal crashes and only in the property. If one thing can't last more than 24 hours, not worth the $$$ or the disapointed kid.
