The original balance bar that came with the helicopter broke on the 2nd crash. I ordered six of these balance bars because I thought that I would be breaking them left and suitable. I have had this for 24 hours, crashed it into the roof, a tree, my dog, my girlfriend and countless pieces of furnishings! This thing is Durable! Thick plastic pivot blades, a thick plastic nose shell and a Aluminum skeleton.
It takes about 30min to charge from a totally dead battery with a proprietary charger and flies for about 10 minutes outdoors and 15 minutes indoors. It can fly it 1 - 2 mph wind outdoors but for the reason that it does not pitch a lot (maybe 5 degrees in each directions) you are definitely just chasing it as it goes in the direction of the wind.
The Gyro is not a joke it really genuinely functions, yawing the unit by hand you can really feel the person blades slow to compensate and stabilize. Outdoors it truly shows how well it assists keep the unit level. The manage has a trim knob to maintain the unit from spinning when hovering.

What a understanding experience! In Could I ordered an S107 from (a different reseller here) but it arrived "dead on arrival" (couldn't power the remote, also had visible create flaws - and a lot of other Amazon reviewers said theirs had been DOA, also). Amazon's buyer protection is amazing: I packed up the defect, printed return label, sent back, full refund. Yet, I knew others were enjoying their Syma copters and I saw entertaining internet vids showing S107 in action - breathtaking flights.
Worth a retry! Jaded but smarter, I searched enthusiasts' blogs. One particular photo-packed weblog claimed some counterfeit S107s were getting sold but they advised obtaining from Amazon reseller "Superstition Hobbies" who sells the genuine Syma merchandise and replacement components. I took the bait, ordered this paired set from that reseller (plus spare rotor blades which I know can eventually put on a bit).
Achievement! Two gorgeous S107s, fly beautifully, have tremendous develop excellent, superb power, nicely maneuverable as they hover, turn, fly. The discounted value is incredibly economical, and it is good to have a pair so I can recharge one, whilst flying the other.
Within weeks I purchased a third (as a gift) from Superstition Hobbies. Tested fantastic! I know my pal will like it.
Terrific purchase if you get the genuine item from the appropriate reseller. I certainly think the study and reseller choice, made the distinction.

This is our complete family's favorite toy. It is the ideal gift for everyone over ten years old. We appreciate our helicopters!

Consumer Critiques

If you have a syma s108g, you know specifically what these blades are made of. It is a great deal more of those low cost plastic blades that came from the factory. The other replacement components are a nice bonus, but the blades are the ones that need to have replacement most typically. The fine thing is, if you know what you are performing, there are not a whole lot of causes why a blade would break clean off. I did not know what i was carrying out, so here I am.

I bought the helicopter for my 9 year old son, for that reason, I saw these as completely required. He did indeed chip a blade pretty rapid. I have replaced two so far, but he has the hang of flying it now.
