Ok, for starters, this is an INSIDE ONLY helicopter. Which is fine, given that the price of an outside copter is [...]-.
This helicopter has excellent functions as the lights flicker, and the spotlight on the bottom adds a fun impact and is also really useful when flying with the lights off. The stability, turns, and movement is rather precise and functions like a charm.
However, I will have to say that when you to begin with take off it is hard to get it proper. It is pretty much impossible to take off from the carpet and / or floor. You desire to take off from one thing elevated like a stool, step-stool, table, chair etc. This is mainly due to the fact when you put the throttle to go up, ( if you push it all the way to the best ) the helicopter flies up way to quick and becomes unstable and unmanageable. If you go to slow, it tends to tip to 1 side or the order and with essentially fail to launch due to the carpet.
You may possibly test what you like, but this toy is worth the order.
As far as durability goes, my four year old and 7 year crash it more occasions than I can count and it runs superb.
It does come with 1 set of added rotor blades!

I was so excited when I purchased this item...it came in the mail seriously rapid...I was able to get it charged rather effortlessly and inside a few hours I had it at work and we had been playing with it. Problem is that after 2 or 3 days...the item would no longer charge and when it did appear like it had a charge...the helicopter would only hover 3 or four inches above the ground. The controller was kinda poorly made considering that I noticed that I had to set it halfway inbetween settings in order to get the helicopter to recognize input. So for two or 3 days of fun...then weeks of looking at it on my table with regret...i'd say skip this item and go with one thing else.
