I just got this copper off ebay for 52.99 free shipping. This bird is WAAAAAY superior than the 9958...just by inspecting it you can see that all the plastic components are thicker, and superior style. The gyro on it is crazy, tends to make it stable itself out nicely for the duration of flight. Speaking of flight - WAY a lot more lift power than the 9958, precision controlling, and like I said it levels itself out nicely immediately after banks and fast thrusts forward. Battery life appears outstanding, plus it comes with TWO batteries and a tiny charger docking station :). Speed and maneuverability are impressive - I can't wait to get this thing in a bigger space than my residence.

I had a Xieda 9958, and it was unstable it had the toilet bowl effect. I purchased this WL Toys V911, and it was stable. It was extremely hassle-free to hover. However, ahead of the initially flight was more than, the motor went out. I took the motor out of my Xieda 9958 and installed it in the V911. It worked and I'm happily flying again.
If you are advancing from a 3 channel heli, turning is accomplished with the left stick instead of the appropriate stick. So, you almost have to relearn how to maneuver.
Thankfully, I bought mine for $56.36 at Amazon, just before the huge cost hike. It took two weeks to get delivered from China.

The original balance bar that came with the helicopter broke on the 2nd crash. I ordered six of these balance bars because I thought that I would be breaking them left and suitable. Nonetheless as I got to be a much better pilot I crashed less and much less critical. I'm glad I ordered six even though as I have 2 S107's and I did not want any down time if the bar must break again. I am tremendously happy with the item and its high quality. I'm also exceptionally pleased with the delivery time and the service from the vendor and would order any parts I require from them once again.

While this balance bar was a direct replacement, it is not the same as the original balance bar on my S107. It fit nicely adequate, but the weights are not the similar and my S107 was no longer stable throughout flight. The weights were not pushed in all the way, so this can not be the exact same for all of these, but for the one particular I received....it was not balanced and there was no way to fix it.
I didn't realize this wasn't OEM... so I'm out a couple of bucks. I'd recommend purchasing the OEM a single to ensure appropriate operation.
